The Puelles family have been making wine in Abalos (La Rioja) for as long as anyone can remember, (1844 actually). Moderate yields using ecologically friendly methods, (no chemical fertilisers or herbicides here), coupled with a respect for the environment, gives wines true to their terroir and history. It's this special combination of soil, microclimate, varieties and centuries of know how that make their wines so unique.
Made from 100% Tempranillo, hand picked and totally unoaked to give a soft, juicy red. Very attractive young cherries and plums with a lovely sweetness coming through in a nice velvety finish. The perfect everyday quaffer!
Drink on its own or with chicken or Chinese food.
