A new addition to our range. A small estate situated just outside Béziers which was originally run by Jean Viennet. However Jean's wonderful artistic talent (he briefly studied with Salvador Dali) beckoned and he handed over the reins to his son Gustave and wife Marie.

As well as textbook Cabernet, Merlot & Chardonnay they also produce very exiciting blends using Pinot Noir, Vermentino, Viognier & Muscat.

While Chardonnay is probably the best known grape variety planted in this region spare a thought for the humble Vermentino grape. It offers loads of aromatic citrus fruit flavours when young and is ideally suited to blending with its more famous partner. Our example is light to medium bodied with hints of grapefruit & lime balanced with the roundness of the Chardonnay and a great crisp finish.

Food Match: seafood, Indian, chicken.
