The Puelles family have been making wine in Abalos (La Rioja) for as long as anyone can remember, (1844 actually). Moderate yields using ecologically friendly methods, (no chemical fertilisers or herbicides here), coupled with a respect for the environment, gives wines true to their terroir and history. It's this special combination of soil, microclimate, varieties and centuries of know how that make their wines so unique.
Made from 100% Viura and unoaked. If you are looking for something dry, inoffensive and light then this may be for you, but in all honesty Rioja is not known for its whites. There's a tme and a place for drinking white Rioja and thats when you're sitting in the sun outside a tapas cafe in Madrid or Barcelona.
Can be a good match with seafood or spicy dishes.
