Made by the award winning Muscadet producer Domaine du Haut Bourg (which we also stock), they have also planted 1 hectare of Merlot in the town of Bouaye. Established in 1945 with some vines stretching back over 60 years, the winemakers Herve and Nicolas Choblet use as few chemicals or preservatives as possible, showing a healthy respect for nature that comes across in the finished article.
This is a light bodied red, made from 100% Merlot, it is soft and fruity, with a smooth, mellow finish. An easy drinking, gluggable red.
